A New Year, A Slower Pace 2026:

Honoring the Nervous System & Individual Care

As we step into a new year, I find myself reflecting less on doing more and more on doing what truly matters.

This year, my work is rooted in depth, presence, and sustainability — for my clients and for myself. Massage, to me, has never been about checking boxes or following a one-size-fits-all protocol. It has always been about listening: to the body, to the nervous system, and to what is being asked for in each moment.

Massage That Listens First

My approach to massage is deeply individualized and informed by an understanding of the autonomic nervous system. Each session is shaped by what your body needs that day — not by a preset routine or menu.

Some days that means slow, grounding work that helps the nervous system settle and feel safe. Other days it may include deeper, more focused techniques, movement, or therapeutic work. The constant is this: your body leads, and I follow.

I bring many techniques with me into the room, but technique is never the point. The point is regulation, relief, and creating space for your body to do what it already knows how to do — heal, unwind, and recalibrate.

Nervous System Care Is Not a Luxury

One of the things I’m most passionate about is helping normalize nervous system care.

We live in a culture that praises pushing through, overriding signals, and earning rest. But the truth is, regulation doesn’t come from force — it comes from listening. Learning to notice when the body is overwhelmed, fatigued, guarded, or asking for gentleness is a skill. One that takes time, patience, and compassion.

Massage can be a powerful support in that process — not as a fix, but as a practice.

My Own Ongoing Journey

This work is personal for me. I’ve spent years learning how to listen to my own nervous system — and I want to be clear that this is something I continue to work on. There is no finish line. There is only relationship: tuning in, adjusting, and choosing care over urgency when possible.

My personal journey has shaped how I show up in the treatment room. It’s why I believe so deeply in meeting people where they are, honoring their pace, and creating a space where nothing needs to be forced or performed.

Gratitude for This Community

I want to take a moment to express how deeply grateful I am for my clients — especially those who choose to come consistently month after month.

Your trust allows me to do this work with integrity. Long-term, ongoing care makes this practice possible and meaningful, and I don’t take that lightly. Thank you for valuing this work, for showing up for yourselves, and for allowing me to be part of your care.

Monthly Appointments & Availability

Because nervous system support works best with consistency, I reserve a portion of my schedule for clients who commit to monthly sessions. These spots are held intentionally and allow us to build a rhythm together over time.

At the moment, I have a limited number of monthly openings available for clients who feel called to ongoing care. If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out or book through my website.

A Note on Payments & Sustainability

As part of keeping my practice sustainable and human-scale, I am moving away from accepting credit cards for in-person payments due to the high processing fees charged to small business owners.

I now prefer cash or check for in-person sessions.

If you pre-book through my website, you are still welcome to use a credit card at the time of booking.

This choice supports the longevity of my practice and allows me to continue offering care in a way that feels aligned and grounded.

Looking Ahead

This year, my intention is simple: to continue offering thoughtful, individualized care that honors the nervous system, the body’s wisdom, and the reality that healing is not linear.

Thank you for being here, for supporting this work, and for choosing to care for yourself in a world that doesn’t always make that easy.

With gratitude,

Lindy
